Windows Package Deployment
You can deploy Lacework Edge connectors to an existing Windows virtual machine using an MSI installer.
Before starting, create a connector token, as described in Lacework Edge Connectors.
Note: This distribution of the Lacework Edge Connector does not support Layer 3 VPN, which is necessary for routing UDP traffic. It does fully support TCP traffic, including SSH, HTTP and HTTPS.
If you need support for UDP traffic, which is necessary for communication with Active Directory, please consider using either the Virtual Machine on Hyper-V, VMWare, VirtualBox, or Xen, as described in Virtual Machine Deployment.

- Windows Server 2019
- Windows Server 2022
Prerequisites
- Microsoft VC++ Runtime must be installed on the machine.
Download: Microsoft VC++ Redistributable for Windows x64.
Install via MSI

Download the Connector Installer for Windows.

Launch the installer. When prompted, paste the connector token you created into the dialog box and complete the installation.

Once complete, the Connector will launch automatically as a Windows Service.
Verify that the connector appears in the console, as described in Verify Connector State.
